Commercial Litigation: Steve has significant experience representing clients in a wide variety of commercial litigation matters, including shareholder disputes, claims involving the realization of security and collection of debts on behalf of creditors.


Foreclosure Law: Steve has acted for numerous commercial lending institutions in all stages of residential and commercial foreclosure proceedings. Steve's experience acting for lenders has also enabled him to provide sound, practical advice to homeowners, and subsequent charge holders, who find themselves responding to foreclosure proceedings.


Real Estate and Construction Litigation: Steve has acted for vendors, purchasers and realtors in residential and commercial real estate disputes. He has also acted for numerous developers, general contractors, sub-trades, homeowners and lending institutions in the course of construction litigation, including claims brought pursuant to the Builders' Lien Act.


Employment Law: Steve has experience dealing with employers and employees alike in disputes arising in non-unionized employment settings. Such disputes include wrongful dismissal and constructive dismissal claims, sexual harassment claims, and claims brought pursuant to the Human Rights Code.
